So, Baby Cat recently got me all excited about working with chenille yarn! In my last blog post I showed you my U.O. Duck, who was crocheted with #6 chenille yarn. He turned out very cute and fluffy.
Well, then I started thinking that I'd like to make a bear with chenille yarn. So I went on ravelry.com and found a bear pattern I liked. Then I went to JoAnn's and found this adorable Bernat baby #5 chenille yarn called "Pipsqueak", in "chocolate".
Then I made Russell Wilson Bear! I named him after the Seattle Seahawks quarterback, who I love!!!!! They're goin' to the Super Bowl for the second time in a row!
Anyway, I really like the name Russel! So here he is. He's even wearing the Seahawks team colors!
Now he's all ready for the big game next Sunday. GO SEAHAWKS!!!!!!!

Aw, he's adorable! I had the pleasure of seeing him when he was under construction - that yarn is unbelievably soft. This bear is a winner, just like the Seahawks!
ReplyDeleteThanks Maureen! I love that yarn too! I've already started a second bear, then I'm going to make one out of the off-white yarn and see how that one turns out.
